The Siemens 3RT1617-1AP03 is a SIRIUS capacitor contactor rated for AC-6 duty at 12.5 kVAr / 400 V, designed specifically for switching power-factor-correction capacitor banks. The 230 V AC coil accepts 50 or 60 Hz supply. Three main poles and one NO plus one NC auxiliary contact are built in, all terminated with screw-type terminals.
The 45 mm wide body and 110 mm depth fit standard S00 panel layouts. The IP20 finger-safe front and terminal protection are sufficient for enclosed control panels.
The AC-1 rating of 20 A at 400 V covers resistive loads, but the primary duty is AC-6 for capacitor switching. The 230 V AC coil draws at 50/60 Hz. The built-in auxiliary contact block provides one NO and one NC contact for status feedback or interlocking.
