Lifecycle and sourcing reality
The manufacturer lists this coil as a phased-out product. The official successor is the SIRIUS 3RT2 series. For BOM lines still specifying the 3RT1924-5AM22, the part is sourced through independent distribution channels and quoted to order against an RFQ — availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time. No last-time-buy window is in effect from the OEM, so the independent channel is the practical path for fill-in or replacement orders.
What the ratings mean for fit
The 208 V AC coil voltage is the operating voltage, not the pickup minimum — the 0.8... 1.1 range at 50 Hz means the coil reliably picks up at 80 % of nominal (approx. 166 V) and holds through 110 % (approx. 229 V). This tolerance covers typical line sag during contactor inrush. The spring-type terminal accepts solid or ferruled stranded wire without retorquing, which is standard for panel builds where vibration resistance matters.
Panel integration note
This coil snaps onto the SIRIUS Size S0 contactor frame via the standard DIN-rail-mounted interface. The spring-cage terminals accept 0.2–2.5 mm² conductors. No additional mounting hardware is needed beyond the contactor's own snap-on rail clip.
