What it is and what it fits
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1924-5AN61 is a replacement magnet coil for Size S0 contactors in the SIRIUS family. It is a screw-terminal coil rated 200 V AC at 50 Hz and 220 V AC at 60 Hz, with an AC control supply voltage type. The operating range spans 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated control supply voltage at 50 Hz, meaning the coil reliably picks up and holds across a 160–220 V AC window at 50 Hz.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality
This part is flagged as a phased-out product. The official Siemens successor is the 3RT2924-5AN61, also a SIRIUS Size S0 magnet coil. For a BOM line that calls out 3RT1924-5AN61, the preferred drop-in replacement is the 3RT2924-5AN61 — same footprint, same Size S0 interface, same screw-terminal connection. Sourcing the phased-out 3RT1924-5AN61 is possible through the surplus and broker channel, quoted to order against an RFQ.
Panel integration note
This coil mounts into the Size S0 contactor frame via the standard screw-terminal interface. The SIRIUS Size S0 contactors snap onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, so the coil replacement is a straightforward swap without removing the contactor from the rail — unclip the old coil, slide in the replacement, and re-terminate the two control wires. Keep the original packaging for the replacement coil until the swap is verified; coil returns are straightforward if the part is unused and the packaging is intact.
