Time-delay auxiliary switch for SIRIUS contactors
The 3RT1926-2ED31: It clips onto the front of a SIRIUS contactor, so there's no extra DIN-rail space or wiring needed beyond the contactor's own terminals. The switch contacts are rated for 3 A maximum, and at 24 V they handle 1 A.
The 3 A maximum contact rating is the absolute ceiling — at 250 V AC the contacts are rated 0.1 A, at 125 V it's 0.2 A. That's typical for a signal-level auxiliary block driving a PLC input or a smaller relay coil, not a power circuit. The adjustable delay (5…100 s) lets you sequence a starter or interlock without a separate timer module — useful when you need a staggered motor start or a purge delay before the main contactor pulls in. The recovery time is 150 ms, so after the delay expires and the contacts reset, you can re-trigger the timer after that window.
Mounting and wiring in the panel
It clips directly onto a SIRIUS contactor — no tools, no extra DIN-rail footprint. Terminals accept 2x solid or stranded AWG 20…14 — standard control wiring. The housing is 33 mm wide, 46 mm tall, 73 mm deep, so it adds about 33 mm to the contactor's width. Basic insulation and pollution degree 3 mean it's rated for the usual industrial panel environment, but not for direct line-voltage isolation.
