What this auxiliary switch does on a contactor
The 3RT1926-2FJ11: The delay range is 0.05 to 1 s, set by a potentiometer on the block, with a recovery time of 150 ms between cycles.
The switch is rated 3 A maximum, but the actual current depends on the voltage: 1 A at 24 VDC, 0.2 A at 125 VDC, and 0.1 A at 250 VDC — the DC arc limits the rating as voltage rises. The minimum ON period is 200 ms, so the delay setting and the downstream load must both accommodate that minimum pulse width.
The block measures 33 mm wide, 46 mm high, and 73 mm deep — it clips onto the front of a 3RT1 contactor without increasing the panel depth beyond the contactor's own profile. Wire termination accepts solid or stranded conductors 18...14 AWG (2x 20...14 AWG for solid), and the fastening method is clip-on — no tools needed for installation.
