The SIRIUS 3RT1936-1ER00-ZX90 is a 24 V DC diode-combination surge suppressor designed for mounting onto SIRIUS contactors in Size S2 and S3 frames. It suppresses the inductive voltage spike when the contactor coil de-energizes, protecting the DC control circuit from back-EMF damage.
This part is a phased-out product. The official SIRIUS successor is the 3RT2936-1ER00-ZX90, which is the preferred replacement type.
