The 24 VDC coil pulls in reliably; the screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², with double-wire capacity up to 2x 2.5 mm². It snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface plus ±22.5° tilt forward and backward — useful when panel layout forces an off-axis install. Clearance distances are tight: 10 mm upward and forward, 10 mm downward, 6 mm at the sides. That keeps the fill factor manageable in a crowded enclosure — you can row-mount these at 45 mm width per unit without worrying about arc flash between phases.
Switching performance and thermal limits
The arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms at AC, and the contactor handles up to 1000 operations per hour at AC-1, 750 per hour at AC-3 and AC-3e, and 250 per hour at AC-4 — the heavy-duty switching rate. That covers most small motor and lighting contactor duties in a standard panel.
