At 24 V rated value, the main contacts carry 10 A, which is the continuous current for a resistive or lightly inductive load at that voltage. For motor duty (AC-3), the contactor is rated for 750 switching operations per hour maximum, and for AC-4 (plugging/reversing) that drops to 250 operations per hour — the contactor's mechanical life of 30 million operations is only achievable if you stay within these electrical switching limits.
Termination and Wiring Considerations
Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², and up to 2x 4 mm² or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) for paralleled conductors. The depth of 73 mm and width of 45 mm mean it fits standard S00 footprint cutouts, with minimum clearances of 10 mm upwards/downwards and 6 mm at the side for arc flash and heat dissipation.
