Panel fit and wiring
The 3RT2015-1AT62 is a size S00 SIRIUS power contactor that snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a 45 mm width and 73 mm depth — fits a standard 45 mm wide DIN cell. Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², or two conductors per clamp (2x 0.5-1.5 mm², 2x 0.75-2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm²). Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Clearance needs are modest — 10 mm upward, 10 mm downward, 10 mm forward, and 6 mm at the side.
Ratings and switching capability
The 24 VDC coil pulls in at the rated 10 A, with dropout below 18 V. For DC switching, the contactor is rated 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 0.14 A at 440 V — so the 24 V coil version is best suited for low-voltage DC control circuits, not high-voltage DC loads. AC switching at 400 V is rated 3 A, and at 480 V it handles 4.8 A. Arcing time runs 10-15 ms at AC. Maximum operating rates: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching).
