SIRIUS Coupling Contactor for 24 V DC Control Circuits
Ratings and Operating Conditions
The 24 V DC coil is the part's defining feature — it pulls in with a typical pickup time of 38 to 65 ms and an arcing time of 10 to 15 ms. The contactor is rated for switching frequencies up to 750 cycles per hour under AC-3 and AC-2 duty, and up to 1000 cycles per hour under AC-1 resistive loads. For DC switching, the rated operational current drops with voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, and 0.3 A at 230 V.
Mounting and Wiring Clearances
The screw terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², and can handle two conductors per clamp in combinations like 2x 0.5-1.5 mm² or 2x 4 mm². The contactor has no built-in auxiliary switch — that's a separate add-on if needed.
