SIRIUS Size S00 coupling contactor — 24 VDC coil, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT2015-1SB41 is a SIRIUS coupling contactor in the Size S00 frame, designed for 24 V DC coil operation with screw-type terminals. It carries a 10 A rated current at 24 V and switches DC loads across a range of voltages: 2 A at 48 V or 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. The contactor mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a mounting position flexibility of ±180° rotation on vertical surfaces and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward.
Integration into a control panel
The Size S00 footprint — 45 mm wide, 58 mm high, 73 mm deep — fits standard DIN-rail enclosures alongside other SIRIUS components. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the sides. The screw terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 0.5 to 4 mm² single, or 2×(0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2×(0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2×4 mm². Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage -55 to +80 °C.
Switching performance and mechanical endurance
Mechanical life is rated at 30,000,000 cycles typical. Maximum switching rates vary by duty: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1, 750 cycles/hour at AC-2, AC-3, or AC-3e, and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4. The arcing time spans 10 to 15 ms, and the DC operating time is 5 to 20 ms. The coil pickup voltage is 0.85 × rated value (20.4 V for a 24 V coil), with a dropout at 1.85 × rated value (44.4 V).
