SIRIUS S00 power contactor — 24 VDC coil, 10 A rated current
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2015-2BB42-ZX95 is a Size S00 power contactor with a 24 V DC coil rated at 10 A. It uses spring-type terminals for the main and auxiliary contacts, and mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The contactor is 70 mm high, 45 mm wide, and 73 mm deep, with a clear mounting position tolerance: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward.
Switching frequency and duty ratings
Maximum switching frequency depends on the duty class: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750 cycles/hour at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), 750 cycles/hour at AC-3e (enhanced motor), and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The contactor also carries auxiliary contacts for signaling or interlocking.
Environmental range and wiring
Operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. Solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm² (single or 2x same gauge) is accepted. Arcing time is 10–15 ms, with a DC dropout time of 7–13 ms. Minimum clearance to adjacent components: 10 mm upward/downward/forward, 6 mm at the side.
