Switching Performance and Thermal Limits

The 3RT2015-2BG41 is rated for different duty cycles: maximum 1,000 switching operations per hour under AC-1 resistive load, 750 1/h under AC-2 and AC-3 motor loads, and 250 1/h under AC-4 (plugging/inching) duty. For AC-3e (enhanced motor switching) the rate is also 750 1/h. The DC switching times (operate + release) fall in the 7 to 13 ms range, with arcing time between 10 and 15 ms.
