It mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 via screw or snap-on, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — flexible for tight panel layouts.
The DC switching ratings tell you exactly what this contactor can break at different voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. These are the maximum currents the contacts can safely interrupt at those DC voltages — critical for DC motor brakes, solenoid valves, or DC bus switching where arc extinction is harder than with AC.
Mechanical life and switching frequency
Rated for 30 million mechanical operations typical, with maximum switching rates of 1000 cycles/hour at AC-1, 750 at AC-2 and AC-3, and 250 at AC-4.
Dimensions are 45 mm wide, 70 mm high, 73 mm deep — the S00 frame is the smallest Siemens contactor chassis, so it fits densely on the DIN rail. Spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², or 2x (0.5 to 4 mm²) for looping.
