The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2015-2KA42 is a coupling contactor in the S00 frame size, designed for switching auxiliary and control circuits in industrial panels. Rated for 10 A at 24 V DC, it uses spring-type terminals for the magnet coil connection, accepting solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm². The 45 mm width and 73 mm depth fit standard DIN-rail layouts with 10 mm clearance upwards and downwards, and 6 mm to the side.
Mounting and integration
Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with screw fastening as an option. The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward or backward, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage from -55 to +80 °C.
Wiring and terminal details
Spring-type terminals on the magnet coil accept solid or stranded wire 0.5 to 4 mm², or 2x (0.5 to 4 mm²) for parallel feeds. No auxiliary switch is included on this variant, so external auxiliary contact blocks would be needed for status feedback.
