What it is and where it fits
The Siemens 3RT2015-2MB41-0KT0 is a SIRIUS coupling contactor in size S00, designed for switching DC loads in control circuits. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a 45 mm width that occupies a single 45 mm slot in a standard enclosure. The spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², including two conductors per clamp, which speeds panel wiring and eliminates screw-torque checks.
Coil and switching performance
The coil is rated 24 VDC, with a pickup threshold of 0.85 × rated (20.4 V) and a dropout of 0.15 × rated (3.6 V), so it holds in through brownout conditions down to about 20 V and drops cleanly below 4 V. Switching capacity at 24 VDC is 10 A, dropping to 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V; at 400 VDC it handles 3 A. These are DC-13 ratings for solenoid loads — the arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms, and the contactor is rated for 20 to 12 A on the main contacts depending on duty.
Mounting and clearances
Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Required clearances: 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 6 mm at the sides. The 73 mm depth and 70 mm height fit standard 200 mm deep enclosures with room for wiring ducts. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C.
