What it is and where it fits
The Siemens 3RT2015-2VB41 is a SIRIUS coupling contactor in the S00 frame size, built for switching loads in control panels where you need a compact, spring-terminalled relay that snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Rated 10 A at 24 VDC, it's sized for moderate DC loads — think small motors, solenoids, or signal routing in a 24 V control loop — and the 24 V coil means it plays nice with standard PLC outputs.
Mounting and wiring
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail; the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, so you can fit it into tight enclosures without fighting the layout. Spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², and the 45 mm width keeps the DIN-rail fill factor manageable — you can pack several in a row without crowding the gland plate. Clearance distances: 10 mm upwards and forwards, 6 mm at the side, 10 mm downwards — enough for standard panel wiring without special standoffs.
