Switching frequency and auxiliary contact ratings
Maximum switching rate depends on duty: AC-1 (resistive) allows 1,000 operations per hour; AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting) both allow 750 per hour; AC-4 (plugging/inching) is limited to 250 per hour. The auxiliary contact is rated for 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48/60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.2 A at 440 V — these are the switching limits for control-circuit loads like PLC inputs or relay coils.
