Ratings that govern the real load
AC-3 switching at 400 V is where this contactor earns its keep for motor duty. The rated operational current at 400 V is 3 A, which sizes it for small three-phase motors — think fractional-horsepower pumps, fans, or conveyor drives. AC-1 resistive load capability is higher but not the primary design target. Switching frequency limits define the thermal cycle: 1 000 operations per hour at AC-1, 750 per hour at AC-2 and AC-3, and 250 per hour at AC-4. The coil holds at 24 VDC nominal. Auxiliary contact ratings span from 10 A at 24 V down to 0.2 A at 440 V — the DC switching curve is steep, so verify the control circuit voltage against the table before wiring.
Mounting and wiring clearances
DIN-rail spacing: 10 mm clearance above and below, 6 mm to the side. Terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², with dual-wire capability up to 2x 2.5 mm². The screw-type connection is field-serviceable with a standard Pozidriv bit.
