SIRIUS Power Contactor, Size S00
The 24 VDC coil with screw-type terminals is a common choice for PLC-driven panels where a 24 VDC control supply is already present. Rated operational current for the main contacts is 20 A at AC-3 duty (motor switching) and 12 A at AC-1 (resistive), per the manufacturer's specification. The contactor handles up to 750 switching cycles per hour under AC-3 load, and up to 1000 cycles per hour under AC-1. The auxiliary contact block is integrated, rated for 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V — covering typical signal-level switching in 24 VDC and 120/230 VAC control circuits.
Wire terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², with dual-wire capability: 2×(0.5–1.5 mm²), 2×(0.75–2.5 mm²), or 2×4 mm². This covers standard control wiring (1.5 mm² for signal, 2.5 mm² for power) without needing ferrule adapters. These are the minimum air gaps to maintain rated insulation; plan your panel layout accordingly, especially when grouping multiple contactors side-by-side.
The contactor is rated for 30 million mechanical operations typical, giving a long service life in cyclic applications like conveyor systems or pump panels.
