Panel fit and integration
The Siemens 3RT2016-1BB42-ZW97 is a SIRIUS S00 power contactor with a 24 V DC coil and screw-type terminals. It mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715. The 45 mm width and 73 mm depth fit standard DIN-rail enclosures; clearance at the side is 6 mm, upwards and forwards 10 mm each.
Auxiliary contact ratings
The built-in auxiliary switch is rated 10 A at 24 V DC, 2 A at 48 V DC, and 0.3 A at 220 V DC. These figures govern the control-circuit load it can break — important when driving PLC inputs or relay coils in the same panel. Arcing time is 10 to 15 ms; the DC switching curve follows the listed voltage steps.
