Mounting and Clearance
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 via screw and snap-on fastening. The mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation possible on a vertical surface, and it can be tilted forward or backward by ±22.5°. Required clearances: 10 mm upwards, forwards, and downwards; 6 mm at the sides. That 6 mm side clearance is tighter than many contactors — plan your DIN-rail layout accordingly if you're packing multiple units side-by-side.
Terminal Wiring
Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm². For dual-wire termination, the range is 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2× 4 mm². Strip length and torque values follow standard Siemens practice for the S00 frame — no special tooling needed.
