It carries a 24 VDC coil with spring-type terminals — no screwdriver needed for the coil connection, which speeds up panel wiring and eliminates torque checks on that circuit. The main power terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², and the contactor snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with screw-mount as an alternative.
The AC-3 rating governs motor switching: at 400 V it handles 3 A, and at 230 V it is rated for 1 hp. That means it fits small motor loads — fractional to about 1.5 kW at 400 V three-phase. The AC-1 resistive rating is higher but not the limiting factor for motor duty. Operating frequency at AC-3 is 750 cycles per hour, which is typical for a size S00 contactor in cyclic service.
