SIRIUS S00 coupling contactor — 24 VDC coil, 10 A, spring terminals
The S00 frame size keeps the footprint compact at 45 mm wide, 70 mm high, and 73 mm deep.
Switching capacity and duty ratings
The main contacts are rated for 20–12 A (likely the thermal continuous current range per IEC). For motor loads, the contactor handles 1 hp at 230 V. DC switching capacity is specified per voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. These are the DC-1 or DC-13 ratings — the arcing time of 10–15 ms and DC operating time of 5–20 ms govern the break capability for inductive DC loads.
Mechanical endurance and switching frequency
Typical mechanical life is 30,000,000 operations. Maximum switching frequency depends on duty class: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750 cycles/hour at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), 750 cycles/hour at AC-3e, and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The pick-up voltage threshold is 0.85 of rated (20.4 VDC), and the drop-out is 1.85 of rated (44.4 VDC) — the coil holds at 24 V nominal but will not pick up below ~20 V and will drop out above ~44 V.
Installation and environmental limits
Wire sizes accepted: solid or stranded 0.5–4 mm², or 2x (0.5–4 mm²) for paralleled conductors. No auxiliary switch is built into this variant.
