The 24 VDC coil draws an initial inrush of 0.7 A and holds at 1.25 A full-scale, with a dropout delay of 7 to 20 ms — important when sequencing contactors in safety or interlock chains. The arcing time runs 10–15 ms, so the contactor clears faults fast enough for most control circuits. Switching frequency depends on duty: up to 1,000 operations per hour at AC-1 (resistive loads), 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/reversing).
