The 100 V at 50 Hz / 110 V at 60 Hz coil covers common control transformer secondaries across 50/60 Hz regions. Rated switching frequencies give the real duty-cycle limits: 1000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive loads), 750 cycles/hour at AC-3 (squirrel-cage motors), and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also at 750 cycles/hour matches the standard motor-starting duty. For a panel builder, the 750 c/h AC-3 ceiling means this contactor handles frequent starting on a conveyor or pump without derating — but if the application calls for sustained jogging or reversing, the AC-4 limit drops to 250 c/h, which may govern the selection.
The auxiliary switch is integrated, so no separate side-mount block is needed for basic status feedback. The coil connection uses a ring cable lug. That allows dense packing on the DIN rail — useful when filling a panel with multiple contactors for a multi-motor line. For a field service tech, the -25 °C low end means the contactor can sit in an unheated enclosure in a cold warehouse and still pick up — no heater required for the contactor itself down to that point.
