SIRIUS power contactor for panel integration
The Siemens 3RT2017-1AH02 is a SIRIUS power contactor in Size S00, designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in control panels. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, fitting into a 45 mm wide slot — standard for compact panel layouts. The coil is 24 V DC with screw-type terminals; auxiliary switch included. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage -55 to +80 °C.
Switching duty and mechanical life
Rated for AC-3 motor switching at 750 operations per hour maximum, AC-1 resistive load at 1000 ops/h, and AC-4 inching/jogging at 250 ops/h. Typical mechanical life is 30 million operations — a solid figure for high-cycle conveyor or pump applications. Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48/60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.2 A at 440 V.
Mounting and wiring clearances
Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Required clearances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. Wire cross-section: solid or stranded 0.5–4 mm²; dual-wire capacity up to 2x 4 mm².
