SIRIUS 3RT2017-1AM22 — Size S00 Power Contactor for 24 VDC Control
The Siemens 3RT2017-1AM22 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the compact Size S00 frame, designed for switching motor and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It mounts via screw fixing or snaps directly onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a ±180° rotation range on vertical surfaces and ±22.5° tilt allowance — useful when fitting into tight enclosure layouts. Rated for a 24 VDC coil (screw-type terminals), the main contacts carry 10 A at 24 V rated value, with a mechanical life of 30 million operations typical. The operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C covers most indoor panel environments; storage range extends to -55 to +80 °C. Switching frequency is duty-dependent: up to 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750 cycles/hour at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). This allows daisy-chaining control wiring without additional terminal blocks.
