It mounts via screw fixing or snaps directly onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a ±180° rotation range on vertical surfaces and ±22.5° tilt allowance — useful when fitting into tight enclosure layouts. Switching frequency is duty-dependent: up to 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750 cycles/hour at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250 cycles/hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The arcing time sits between 10 and 15 ms — a relevant number when coordinating with upstream protection in a selective coordination study.
Clearance requirements: 10 mm upward and forward, 10 mm downward, 6 mm at the sides — important when calculating fill factor in a crowded enclosure. Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², and can clamp two conductors per terminal (2x 0.5–1.5 mm², 2x 0.75–2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm²). This allows daisy-chaining control wiring without additional terminal blocks.
