SIRIUS Size S00 power contactor – 24 VDC coil, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT2017-1AT61 is a SIRIUS-branded power contactor in the Size S00 frame, built for switching motor and resistive loads in control panels. It carries a 24 VDC magnet coil with screw-type terminals, rated 10 A at 24 V and 11 A at 480 V. The contactor includes an auxiliary switch and mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715.
DIN-rail fit and wiring clearance
At 45 mm wide, 58 mm tall, and 73 mm deep, this contactor fits the standard S00 footprint. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. Wiring accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², with dual-wire capability up to 2x 1.5 mm² solid or 2x 2.5 mm² stranded.
Switching duty and mechanical life
Rated for AC-1 (resistive) at 1,000 operations/hour, AC-2 and AC-3 (motor) at 750 ops/hour, and AC-4 (inching/plugging) at 250 ops/hour. Mechanical life is typical 30 million operations. Arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. Mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on vertical surfaces and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward.
