The Siemens 3RT2017-1AU01 is a SIRIUS power contactor in Size S00, designed for switching motor loads in control panels. It carries a 24 VDC coil rated at 10 A and mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, fitting into a 45 mm wide footprint.
Mounting and wiring
Snap-on or screw-fixed to 35 mm DIN rail (DIN EN 60715). The 45 mm width and 73 mm depth leave room for adjacent devices in a crowded panel. Wiring accepts solid or stranded conductors: 0.5…4 mm² single, or 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²), 2x 4 mm². Screw-type terminals on the magnet coil.
Switching frequency and environment
Rated for up to 1 000 switching cycles per hour in AC-1 duty, 750/h in AC-2 and AC-3, and 250/h in AC-4. Operating temperature range -25…+60 °C; storage from -55…+80 °C. Mounting position is flexible: +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward.
