It snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 and can also be screw-mounted, with +/-180° rotation possible on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when fitting into a crowded panel where orientation flexibility saves a gland plate rework.
The 24 VDC coil holds at its rated value and switches the main contacts rated for 20 A at 400 V (AC-3e). The 10 A at 24 VDC contact rating tells you it handles moderate DC loads, but the AC-3 motor switching current is the figure that governs most conveyor, pump, and fan applications — size S00 covers smaller motors up to about 5.5 kW at 400 V three-phase. Switching frequency varies by duty: up to 1 000 cycles/hour for resistive AC-1 loads, 750 cycles/hour for AC-2 and AC-3 motor starting, and 250 cycles/hour for AC-4 plugging/reversing — so if your application does frequent inching or reversing, that 250 cycles/hour limit is the one that prevents overheating the contactor.
Wiring and Integration
Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 0.5 to 4 mm² single, or 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm² — covers most control panel wiring up to 4 mm².
