SIRIUS S00 power contactor, 24 VDC coil, spring terminals
The Siemens 3RT2017-2AP02-ZW96 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S00, designed for switching motor loads and resistive circuits in control panels. The coil is rated at 24 VDC, and the main contacts use spring-type terminals for fast wiring — solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm² fit directly without a screwdriver. Rated operational current at 24 V is 10 A, with a maximum switching frequency of 750 operations per hour under AC-3 duty (motor starting). The contactor mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the 45 mm width leaves room for adjacent devices in a crowded panel.
Mounting and integration
Fastening is via screw or snap-on mounting onto a 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5° — useful for tight enclosures or angled subpanels. Clearance distances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm at the side. These spacings govern how tightly you can pack multiple contactors on the same rail without derating.
