Integrator note
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2017-2BB41-0CC0 is a Size S00 power contactor with a 24 VDC coil and spring-type terminals. It snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 and accepts solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm² — two conductors per clamp if needed. The 45 mm width and 73 mm depth fit standard panel layouts; clearances of 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, and 6 mm to the side keep heat dissipation predictable at rated loads.
Switching duty and mechanical life
Rated for AC-3 motor switching at 750 operations per hour and AC-4 (inching/plugging) at 250 ops/h. The auxiliary switch is built in. Mechanical life is rated at 30 million operations typical. Coil pick-up and drop-out timing: arcing time 10–15 ms, DC dropout 7–13 ms. Ambient operating range -25 to +60 °C; storage -55 to +80 °C.
Auxiliary contact ratings
The integrated auxiliary switch handles 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48/60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. Motor load at 230 V is rated 2 hp.
