What this SIRIUS S00 coupling contactor does
It uses a 24 V DC coil and spring-type terminals for wiring. The contactor's rated switching capacity at 24 V is 10 A, at 48 V and 60 V it is 2 A, at 110 V it is 1 A, at 125 V it is 0.9 A, at 220 V it is 0.3 A, and at 400 V it is 3 A. At 230 V it is rated for 2 hp. Mechanical life is rated at 30,000,000 operations typical, with maximum switching frequencies of 1,000 ops/h at AC-1, 750 ops/h at AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e, and 250 ops/h at AC-4.
Mounting and integration into a panel
The S00 frame occupies 45 mm width, 70 mm height, and 73 mm depth — a tight footprint for crowded enclosures. Spring-type terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm², with a 2x (0.5 to 4 mm²) capacity for paralleled conductors.
Coil characteristics and switching performance
The 24 V DC coil picks up at 0.7 times the rated value (16.8 V) and drops out at 1.25 times the rated value (30 V). The contactor has no built-in auxiliary switch — any auxiliary contact block must be added separately.
