The 3RT2017-2MB41-0KT0 is a SIRIUS coupling contactor in the size S00 frame, with a 24 VDC solenoid coil and spring-type terminals for the main circuit. The DC coil pull-in is rated at 0.85 of nominal voltage (20.4 VDC) and the hold-in at 1.85 (44.4 VDC), so the control circuit must deliver a clean 24 VDC rail without brownout during the 5–20 ms pick-up window.
DC switching capacity — where the ratings matter
For AC loads at 400 V it handles 3 A, and at 230 V it is rated for 2 hp — the AC-3 switching rate is 750 cycles per hour maximum, while AC-4 (plugging/inching) is limited to 250 cycles per hour.
