Switching frequency varies by duty class: 1 000 1/h at AC-1 (resistive), 750 1/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), 750 1/h at AC-3e (enhanced motor), and 250 1/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3 ceiling of 750 operations per hour is the practical limit for most motor applications — exceeding it accelerates wear on the main contacts. The AC-4 derating to 250 1/h reflects the heavier arc duty during reversing or jogging cycles.
The 45 mm width and 58 mm height fit standard S00 footprint; depth is 73 mm including coil terminals. The magnet coil connection uses a ring cable lug — factor that into wire termination planning.
