The 3RT2018-1AG61: Clearance to adjacent parts: 10 mm above and below, 10 mm forward, 6 mm to the side. That 6 mm side gap is the tightest — plan for it when grouping contactors side-by-side.
Switching duty and auxiliary contact ratings
Rated for 1,000 operating cycles per hour in AC-1 (resistive) duty, 750/h in AC-2 and AC-3 (motor) duty, and 250/h in AC-4 (plugging/inching) duty. The AC-3e rating matches the AC-3 figure at 750/h — no derating for the enhanced version. At 230 V it carries a 2 hp motor rating — useful for small pump or fan loads. Wire sizes accepted: solid or stranded 0.5–4 mm², with dual-wire entries up to 2×4 mm².
Temperature range and storage
The 60 °C ceiling is typical for panel-mounted contactors — if the enclosure ambient exceeds that, derate or add ventilation.
