The Siemens 3RT2018-1AK64-3MA0 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S00, built for switching motor loads in control panels up to its rated thermal current. The coil termination uses screw-type terminals, a common preference for field wiring where ring or fork lugs are standard. It measures 45 mm wide, 58 mm deep, and 117 mm high, making it a compact fit for DIN-rail cabinets. The housing allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and up to 22.5° tilt, giving panel builders flexibility for tight layouts. Mounting and Wiring
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715 using the integrated screw and snap-on mechanism. Side clearance of 6 mm and top/bottom clearance of 10 mm are required for arcing and ventilation. Forwards/upwards/downwards spacing of 10 mm ensures safe arc quenching. Arcing time is 10–15 ms; allow adequate separation from sensitive components. Operating temperature range -25 to +60 °C, storage down to -55 °C.
