The Siemens 3RT2018-1AS01 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S00, built for switching motor loads and resistive circuits in control panels. The 24 VDC coil with screw-type terminals lands it in the standard IEC/UL 60947-4-1 contactor class, and the snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 means it integrates into any panel already laid out for the SIRIUS footprint.
Mounting and integration
Fastens by screw or snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can be tilted forward/backward by +/-22.5° — useful when the panel layout forces an unconventional orientation. Clearance: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. The 45 mm width and 73 mm depth fit the S00 envelope; the 58 mm height keeps it below typical busbar shrouds.
Terminal capacity and wiring
Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire from 0.5 to 4 mm². For double terminations: 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm². The screw-type terminals are standard for the SIRIUS contactor line — no special tooling needed, but torque to the manufacturer's spec for the wire gauge.
