The 3RT2018-2BE42: This reduces wiring time and eliminates the need to re-torque screw terminals during panel vibration testing.
The 6 mm side gap is the tightest constraint — adjacent contactors or other heat-dissipating devices need that breathing room to stay within the -25 to +60 °C operating range.
The contactor is 45 mm wide, 70 mm tall, and 73 mm deep. The 73 mm depth includes the body and the spring-terminal projection — factor this into enclosure depth when the DIN rail is mounted close to the back wall.
No screw-torque specification is needed — the spring clamp applies consistent force.
