Coil and auxiliary contact ratings
The 3RT2018-2LB42-0LA0: The 24 VDC coil is rated for 10 A at 24 V on the auxiliary contacts — that's the contact rating for a DC-13 load at that voltage. For a packaging machine OEM, this means the auxiliary contacts can switch a 24 VDC PLC input or solenoid valve directly without an interposing relay, as long as the inrush stays under 10 A.
Mounting and wiring
Spring-type terminals accept solid conductors from 0.5 mm² up to 4 mm², with multiple wire combinations allowed. The mounting position is flexible — ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — which helps when fitting into a crowded enclosure. Clearance requirements are 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, and 6 mm at the side.
Environmental and lifecycle
Operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C, with storage from -55 to +80 °C. The lifecycle status is current — no phase-out or NRND flag. This is a qualified part for serial production; no requalification needed if it's already on your BOM.
