The 24 VDC coil pulls in at 0.8 of rated voltage and holds reliably; the ring-cable-lug connection on the magnet coil means you torque a ring terminal, not a spade, so it wires up clean on the coil terminals.
The S00 frame is the smallest Siemens contactor size, so it fits where a larger frame won't.
Switching performance and mechanical life
Rated for 1 000 1/h at AC-1, 750 1/h at AC-3, and 250 1/h at AC-4. Mechanical life of the contactor is typical 30 000 000 operations — that's the no-load mechanical endurance, not the electrical endurance under load.
Coil and contact ratings
Coil rated 24 VDC with a pickup of 0.8 x rated value. The contact ratings span a wide voltage range: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.2 A at 440 V, 14 A at 480 V, 2 A at 500 V, and 11 A at 600 V. The 480 V and 600 V figures are the higher-current paths — useful for 480 V motor circuits common in North American panels. The 2 hp rating at 230 V gives a quick motor-size reference for single-phase loads.
