Motor Switching Contactor for Standard Loads
The Siemens 3RT2023-1AP00-Z W96 is a 3-pole power contactor from the SIRIUS 3RT2 series, rated for AC-3e/AC-3 duty at 9 A. The 230 V AC 50 Hz coil is a standard industrial control voltage, so it drops directly into existing 230 V control circuits without a transformer. The contactor includes one normally-open and one normally-closed auxiliary contact (1 NO + 1 NC), which is enough for basic self-holding or status feedback without adding a separate aux block. Termination is via screw terminals, and the size S0 footprint fits the standard DIN-rail mounting grid used across the SIRIUS family.
The standard screw-terminal version is the most widely stocked variant in the 3RT2 family.
Size S0 contactors have a compact body — 85 x 45 x 101 mm — which fits tightly on a DIN rail alongside other S0 devices. The 230 V AC coil draws a holding current typical for this frame size; verify the control transformer is sized for the inrush if multiple contactors pick up simultaneously.
