It is rated for 24 VDC coil voltage and uses spring-type terminals for the magnet coil connection, which speeds up wiring and eliminates the need for periodic screw retorquing.
The S0 frame size (45 mm wide, 102 mm high, 144 mm deep) fits the standard 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with screw and snap-on mounting. The coil draws 0.25 A at 50 Hz and 0.28 A at 60 Hz at 24 V rated value. That is a low inrush for a contactor this size, so a standard 24 VDC power supply with 6 A output can drive several of these without derating the supply. Switching frequency is rated at 1,000 operating cycles per hour for AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, dropping to 300 cycles per hour for AC-4. For a conveyor or pump motor starting under load (AC-3), you can cycle it every 3.6 seconds continuously. For plugging or inching duty (AC-4), the interval extends to 12 seconds to let the contacts cool. Wire range accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², and dual-wire capability for 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²). That covers most control wiring up to 6 AWG, so you can land motor leads directly without a terminal block. The -25 °C floor means it is fine for unheated plant areas in most climates, but not for freezer applications without a heated enclosure.
Mounting and Clearance Notes
That gives flexibility for tight enclosures, but keep the arc chamber orientation in mind — the arcing time is 10 ms, and the specified clearances (10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 6 mm sideways) are the minimum to prevent flashover between phases or to grounded metal.
