The 3RT2023-2BB40: This SIRIUS contactor is sized for motor control circuits in critical facilities—10 A DC-13 at 24 V handles pilot duty on VFD bypass contactors or fan starters. Mechanical life of 10 million operations exceeds typical bearing life, reducing PM cycles. The auxiliary switch provides positive status feedback; wire it into the BMS to confirm dropout before engaging the redundant path in a concurrently maintainable N+1 pair. Coil holds at 24 V DC nominal; drops out below 0.8 x 24 V. Arcing time is 10 ms.

Mounting and wiring
Snap-on and screw mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. Mounting position flexible: ±180° rotation and ±22.5° tilt on vertical surfaces. Spring terminals accept 1–10 mm² solid/stranded for power circuit; auxiliary wiring 2x 0.5–2.5 mm². Clearances: 10 mm upwards, forwards, downwards; 6 mm laterally. Depth is 107 mm—confirm panel depth before layout.
