SIRIUS S0 Power Contactor — Ratings and Fit
The Siemens 3RT2024-1AP60 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S0 frame, rated for 1 000 operating cycles per hour in AC-3 motor switching duty and 300 cycles per hour in AC-4 (plugging/inrush). An auxiliary switch is included, and the main contacts terminate at screw-type terminals. Switching frequency for AC-1 (resistive) and AC-2 also supports 1 000 cycles/h, while AC-4 is limited to 300/h — the figure that governs duty for high-inrush loads like jogging or reversing starters.
Mounting and Wiring
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715 via screw and snap-on. The contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted ±22.5°; clearance above and below is 10 mm, alongside 6 mm, forward 10 mm. Wire range accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm² on the main terminals. Dual-wire combinations are supported: 2× (0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75…2.5 mm²) for auxiliary or control circuits. Dimensions: 45 mm width, 85 mm height, 97 mm depth. Operating ambient -25 to +60 °C; storage -55 to +80 °C.
