SIRIUS S0 power contactor — 24 VDC coil, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT2024-1AT60 is a SIRIUS S0-frame power contactor with a 24 VDC magnet coil terminated via screw-type terminals. It snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 and can also be screw-mounted. The 45 mm width and 97 mm depth fit standard S0 panel layouts. Switching capacity varies by voltage and duty: 10 A at 24 V rated value, 2 A at 48 V or 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.6 A at 440 V, and 11 A at 480 V. For motor loads, it carries 2 hp at 230 V. The contactor is rated for 1 000 operating cycles per hour in AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, and 300 cycles per hour in AC-4 duty. Mechanical endurance is 10 000 000 typical cycles. The main contact wire range accepts solid or stranded conductors from 1 to 10 mm², and the auxiliary contact terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). Ambient operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. Mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward.
Integration notes — DIN rail and panel fit
The S0 frame occupies a 45 mm wide DIN-rail footprint. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. The 97 mm depth includes the coil terminals — verify clearance to the enclosure door or backplane before laying out the panel. Coil termination uses screw-type terminals; the arcing time is 10 ms. The auxiliary switch is present. Suitable for control panels switching motor loads up to 11 A at 480 V or resistive loads at the AC-1 rating.
