The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2024-1AV00 is a size S0 power contactor, rated for 10 A at 24 V and 2 hp at 230 V. It uses screw-type terminals for the magnet coil and accepts solid or stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm² on the main contacts.
Mounting and Clearances
Mounts via screw or snap-on to 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. The mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Required clearances for heat dissipation: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, and 6 mm at the side. The 97 mm depth and 85 mm height fit standard enclosure depths.

Rated for 1,000 switching cycles per hour under AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty; drops to 300 cycles per hour for AC-4 (frequent starting/plugging). Mechanical service life is 10 million operations typical. Arcing time is 4 to 16 ms at AC, with a specified arcing time of 10 to 10 ms. The auxiliary switch is included, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) wire.
