The 3RT2024-1BF40 is a frame-size S0 power contactor from the Siemens SIRIUS family, designed for switching motor loads in control panels. It uses a 110 V AC coil with screw-type terminals and includes an auxiliary switch. Dimensions of 45 mm width, 85 mm height, and 107 mm depth allow compact mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715.
Wiring and mounting constraints
Main contacts accept solid or stranded copper wire from 1 to 10 mm²; auxiliary terminals accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²). Mounting clearances: 10 mm above and below, 6 mm to the side. Operating temperature range –25 to +60 °C. The S0 frame footprint leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks on the same DIN rail.
