The Siemens 3RT2024-1NB30 is a SIRIUS power contactor in an S0 frame, wired via screw-type terminals that accept 1 to 10 mm² solid or stranded conductors. The coil operates on a 21-28 V supply with an inrush peak of 3 A. Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 with screw or snap-on fastening. The contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface or tilted ±22.5°, giving flexibility for tight panel layouts.
Switching duty and operating rates
Rated for up to 1 000 switching operations per hour under AC-1, AC-2, and AC-3 duty. Under AC-4 (frequent starting, plugging, or reversing of motors) the rate drops to 300 1/h. This matters when sizing for heavy inductive loads — you cannot cycle an AC-4 application at the same speed as a standard motor start.
